I nearly had a heart attack when I was walking through the aisles of London Drugs in downtown Vancouver when I saw that they have started carrying Colab. British YouTubers and bloggers are all about this dry shampoo, so naturally my curious self had to pick one up to see what all the fuss was about.
I’ve got the London scent, the London Drugs I went to only had this scent, and the Rio scent. They did, however, also have the volumizing version in both scents as well. This one, the Sheer Invisible range, is meant to be your down-and-dirty-clean-up-your-roots-holy-you-need-a-shower, dry shampoo.
The scent is pretty overpowering, it’s much stronger than the Batiste scents, so keep that in mind. Where this dry shampoo beats Batiste is it’s completely clear, you can’t see a thing on your hair. It absorbs oil just like Batiste, but I also find this to not irritate my scalp as much. Batiste makes me feel itchy, and this dry shampoo just doesn’t do that. This dry shampoo is one to use if you’re going to was your hair the next day, it won’t last you days and days, but it does save you from having to wash your hair for a day. This also gives your hair a nice texture if you’re dealing with first day hair that tends to get slippery.
The spray is really nice, but overall I don’t think this is anything I haven’t experience before. I’d re-purchase because it’s at a decent price point, and cruelty free dry shampoos are hard to come by, but I wouldn’t say this has changed my life in any way, shape or form. I’m really interested to try the Paris scent, as I love anything rose scented.
